Crane roller timing chain sets not only give you the accurate timing that the roller design is famous for, but some applications also have a thrust bearing to stop the "walking" motion of your camshaft in the block for added stability. Crank sprockets have three keyways, which allow you to set your cam timing at normal, 4 degrees retarded, or 4 degrees advanced.
