The MSD 6-Series Ignition is a capacitive discharge, multiple sparking ignition that will improve the driveability and performance of every day drivers to weekend warriors. The 6-Series Ignition Controls (except the Digital-6 Plus) all share the same output characteristics when it comes to spark energy, voltage, and the spark series to ensure complete combustion of the air/fuel mixture. All the units have the same wiring but each model has a different feature(s). The 6 Series will work with virtually any vehicle as long as it has a 12-18 volt electrical system. It can be triggered using breaker points, a magnetic pickup or the output of an electronic amplifier. Works on 4, 6 or 8 cylinder engines
